The Linguistics Peer Tutoring Lab is recruiting

The new Linguistics Peer Tutoring Lab is looking for undergraduate tutors for Spring 2019! If you excelled in a previous linguistics course, you could receive course credit for tutoring students who are currently taking the course. Tutors will receive credit for LING 191: either 1 credit (for 2-3 hours a week) or 2 credits (for 4-5 hours a week).

This is a great opportunity to gain teaching experience, and solidify your understanding of course material. The Peer Tutoring Lab will be open for two evenings every week, and students seeking help may drop in as they please.

How can you apply?

Send the following to by March 15:

1. The course(s) you’d like to tutor (LING 15, 108, 115, 127, 136, and/or 145)

2. The name of a linguistics professor or TA who could recommend you

3. Your unofficial transcript
